Heads up: Ecto scammers in Kamadan
Returned to play a bit of Guild Wars this weekend to find people "scamming" ectos. Here's how:
1) "WTB Ectos 5k each"
2) Open trade, offer ectos
1) Offers 5g per ecto, not 5k
Nothing new, but I don't remember this happening so often before. A couple of these people were low level chars, probably a secondary account, but another guy was monk with all the usual bling.

Before it was easier to scam with this method since we had golds exposed like this: 1 gold, 1platinum, with their respective icons (if I am not wrong).
Now that we have only golds listed, it's way harder to don't catch the eye onto the numbers.

If you fall for this, you deserve it for not paying attention IMO.

As I'm sure you gathered by now, it is not a new scam. That scam only works if you are not paying attention. So everybody, pay attention!
